📖 How to Use This App

🧒 Step 1: Add Your Child

  • Click the "➕ Add New Child" button below
  • Enter your child's name
  • Select their age group from the dropdown
  • Click "💾 Save Child"
  • You can add multiple children and switch between them

🌡️ Step 2: Record Temperature

  • Select a child from the list (if you have multiple children)
  • Enter the temperature reading in the input field
  • Choose between Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C)
  • Optionally add symptoms (e.g., "cough, runny nose")
  • Optionally add notes (e.g., "before bedtime", "after medication")
  • Click "📊 Add Reading"

📊 Step 3: View & Track

  • Status Card: Shows current temperature with color-coded health status and immediate care recommendations
  • Statistics: View total readings, average, highest, and lowest temperatures
  • Temperature Chart: Visual graph showing temperature trends over time (24h, 3d, 7d, or all readings)
  • Reading History: Complete log of all temperature readings with timestamps and notes
  • Classification Table: Reference guide showing temperature ranges for different age groups

💾 Step 4: Export Data

  • Click "📥 Export CSV" button in the Reading History section
  • Download a complete spreadsheet of all temperature records
  • Share with your pediatrician or keep for medical records
  • Includes child name, age, timestamps, temperatures, status, symptoms, and notes

  • Data Persistence: All your data is automatically saved and will be available when you return
  • Multiple Children: Click on different child cards to switch between profiles
  • Delete Records: Use the "Delete" button next to any reading to remove it
  • Unit Conversion: Switch between °F and °C anytime - the app converts automatically
  • Color Codes: Blue (hypothermia), Green (normal), Yellow (low fever), Orange (moderate), Red (high fever), Dark red (hyperthermia)
  • Medical Guidance: Each status includes specific care recommendations and action steps
